I just finished episode 228. Hearing you guys talk about The Clock made me think of Jim Jarmusch's 1991 film Night on Earth. I wondered if either of you have seen it. Its a series of 5 stories that follow 5 different cab driver's in 5 different cities around the planet. All the stories take place simultaneously, so as you move around the planet it gets later in the day with each story. I haven't seen that film in years. Thinking about it now made me realize what a great time period the late 80's and early 90's was for independent films. Going to the video store was a weekly event and I was always discovering new, really good, non-mainstream movies, both foreign and domestic. I really miss that experience of discovery.

It's been a while since I've seen Night on Earth. We're talking 20-25 years. Loved it and the Tom Waits soundtrack. I don't think there's a Jarmusch film I haven't liked. But for some reason I haven't kept up with him. I need to find time to correct this and watch Night on Earth again. Thanks for the reminder. -Adam
